Wash & fold vs dry cleaning: which does your garment need?
A simple decision guide for Abu Dhabi wardrobes — which garments belong in the washing machine, which need dry cleaning, and what happens if you choose wrong.
The short version: water cleans by soaking fibres, solvent cleans without soaking them. Garments that rely on structure, coating or delicate fibres are damaged by the soak — those are the ones that need dry cleaning.

- Ties and anything labelled 'dry clean only'

Check the care label first — a circle symbol means dry clean. If the label is gone, send it in and let us decide; our intake team checks fabric and construction on every order anyway, and we'll message you on WhatsApp if a garment you marked for washing really needs solvent care.
